OBOB is a statewide voluntary reading motivation and comprehension program. Students in 3rd-12th grade, regardless of ability, are exposed to quality literature representing a variety of literary styles and viewpoints. They form teams and are quizzed on the books that have been selected each year.
The Canned Food Club collected a new school record of 8,707 items!
221 food boxes were assembled to feed Sherwood families over the holiday season.
Every Thursday, the Hawks View Chess Club meets after school to play each other and teach other kids the game.
Once a month, the Passport Club meets and learns about new countries.

Once a quarter, volunteers come in and teach the kids about a famous artist's history and then have the students make an artistic piece that reflects the work of that artist.
You can donate new and used books by dropping them off at the office for our Book Bonanza that happens in the spring, where kids get to pick out a handful of books to bring and keep.
